How and Why to Share Your Story in Direct Sales
Key points from today’s show –
One of my favorite coaching clients – we’ll call her Susie – is in her 70s and just a dream. She inspires me because she is just putting her toe in the network marketing waters and I love that she is committed and pushing herself to keep adding value in life!
She is widowed and hasn’t worked outside of the home in over 50 years. She’s been a mom, a wife and has worn many hats as we all know happens!
She’s struggling to learn it all, but she is so determined!
This generation, and others, are often finding themselves living longer and are looking for a business for a number of reasons –
Money and Income
Meeting New People
Learning New Skills
So, Susie shared with me that she didn’t feel like she has a story. And, yet she DOES. Her story matters and YOUR story matters in Direct Sales.
There is a saying – let your MESS become your MESSAGE!
My first story was staying home with my children. Now, my story is working with and teaching other moms how to do this, because I know EXACTLY how to do it and have done it, successfully!
We all have a story. Draw out what yours is. Write it out and then ask yourself – are there others out there in my same position? Who share my story?
The answer will always be yes!
Take your EGO out of the equation. There is no LOVE in FEAR, so approach it from a true point of love for the other person when you share your story!
