Using Stories to Share Your Network Marketing Business
Welcome to the Street Smart Wealth Podcast, show #109.
It’s easy to think that sharing all of the facts and figures about your company and product line is what is going to DRAW people into your business. It’s going to be the thing that snags them.
And yet, time and time again, we hear stories from top income earners and we are engaged by stories.
Let’s chat about how stories sell your network marketing business and how to empower and inspire others on today’s show.
Also, I am getting my coaching certification and will be offering some complimentary coaching sessions as part of the process. If you would like to apply, get on the notification list, and listen to a free webinar on “Getting Unstuck!” –

The Power of Stories in Your Network Marketing Business
Butch’s story – Dig Your Well Before you are Thirsty
I just wanted to thank you for doing the Mindshift to Millions webinar last week. It came at a perfect time for me. Many of the points you covered are things that have been holding me back for years.
I’ve never been able to nail down exactly what has been my roadblock, but I think it’s a combination of many things that you discussed. I’ve let fears of rejection, failure, loss of credibility or reputation, and probably many more that I can’t think of right now stop me before I got started. It’s really silly when you think about it.
I’ve heard you speak many times about how important your “why” is to success in a homebased business. You would think that just being able to provide better for my family would be enough of a why, and it should be. So, I wonder if I just haven’t focused enough on my why in the past. Your webinar gave me a lot to think about.
On September 18, our lives changed, maybe forever. My wife Debra had a stroke and has been paralyzed on her left side ever since. Today is day number 36 in the hospital. When she finally comes home, she won’t be able to be left alone, so I may not be able to go to work. Working from home may not just be an option but a necessity.
So, my “why” is now off the charts. She’s only 51, and I’m confident she will recover, but it will be a long road. I’m kicking myself now for not building a business previously. It would sure help us now.
I know there is no shortcut to success, but if there’s anything you can think of that might help move things along a little quicker for us, I would appreciate a heads-up. Your webinar really helped my perspective in many areas.
I don’t know if you look for podcast ideas, but you are more than welcome to use our story to let your listeners know that having a homebased business could help prepare them for the unexpected.
Thanks again for the great webinar, and take care.

Randy Gage’s story – similar story – Mom was Avon lady, single mom, struggled to support 3 kids alone. He was in a number of companies before taking a look at the common denominator for lack of success – himself.
