Sales intelligence is information you can gather that increases your chances of making the sale!

Know your prospects work history, education, and any other details like press releases, acquisitions, and whatever else you can glean from their profile.

This differentiates you from the masses quickly.

 

How to Connect and Engage with Purpose

 

Like anything, define your goal for each person you connect with on LinkedIn. Remember to spend 95% of your time focused on connecting and engaging with your target market.

The goal of connecting with your target market is not to lead with your sales pitch. In social selling you have to slow down the process and be willing to invest.

 

How to Be Like Oprah in LinkedIn

 

The Old school ABC,“Always being closing” mentality is DEAD. Modern sales is “Always be giving.” Provide value whenever possible even when it has nothing to do with your product or service.

When you are authentic and engaged with your audience, it’s easy to find ways to provide value: be a connector, share relevant content, write recommendation, like/share their content, share tool/resource, provide solution w/o purchase, be encouraging, be a good listener, mention then on social or in article.
