My Favorite F Words
Here is how I create content around my brand, my mission, my passions and my interests, and my 5 areas of focus on social media, as well as offline. After all, we actually LIVE in the offline world, right?
You’re listening to the StreetSmartWealth experience, #329. Today, I want to get you in the mindset of planning your focus and your social media content calendar with intention. So, I thought I would share my 5 areas of focus on social media, and how this guides my content and my marketing, easily and effortlessly.
You may have heard of my 5 Favorite “F” Words…
These are the words that drive my life, my business and ultimately my content and behaviors on Social Media.
As the year is winding down, you may be like me, and many others and beginning to plan your focus and intentions for 2019.
I am much more about intentions and a focus than goals.
You control your intentions, and those are the action steps that take you to your goals.
Be intentional. Live intentional. Each and every day, and as best you can, each and every moment. Just start by being aware. WHERE are you now? Where “should” you be focused?

It should be here on Thursday, which is good. My calendar is full for next year to fill in.
I’m excited about how my year is shaping up already with events, speaking, fun, family and more. You know I’m big on the calendar. What’s in it happens!
I encourage you to get intentional with your calendar and planning this year, if you have not, in the past. You’ll be amazed at how things shift and change.
It freed me up to have even more time when I could plot, plan and produce!

My 5 Areas of Focus on Social Media
Brendon Burchard and being Edgy – setting yourself apart. How to create interest, be slightly provocative, if you will. I’m a mom, wife, daughter – I’m not one to drop F bombs randomly and in public for sure. Just not my style.
So, how could I incorporate who I am, my values and interests into my online branding.
And, so evolved my F words, and the 5 I most resonate with, although there are TONS of F words that work.
I often say this is my highest value, and it’s not that I place it above everything else, but I weigh in this one with the others. If it’s not fun, I’m not doing it.
Find the fun – even a hashtag I use!
Fun in a business is my mantra. On my facebook profile – CEO of Fun and Abundance.
When you begin to have fun in your business and let go of stress of not being there, things happen! My own story with that.
This encompasses so much about my life. Spiritual, not religious. Faith in the process. My ability, my future, people, life, love, experiences, and more. Faith is strength and a comfort,
What more can I say about this. Experiences with my Fs is everything. My children will both be home for Christmas and I am like a kid with Christmas anticipation. I’ve planned food, fun and fabulousness – more F words.
Again, very expansive in its reach – health fitness, physical fitness, spiritual fitness, mental fitness, emotional fitness, financial fitness, healthy and clean eating.
Money is ok. It’s fabulous, it’s fun, and it allows us to be and do so much more. When finance is not a struggle, it’s amazing how we can show up for the rest of life. I want for everyone to experience the joy of not worrying about money.
I have not always been this way. I have struggled with a bad money blueprint and fear of lack of money most of my life. And, I’m not sure why other than overhearing one negative conversation that I read way too much into at 9 years old. I’ve worked to overcome that.
I’ve learned to be comfortable saying – I love money; making it; spending it; sharing it; putting that energy out into the universe and seeing how it grows and serves. I am ambitious. I am driven, not by the money itself, but by the way it tests and stretches me to grow.
Creating a Plan Around That
So, for each of these words, and what they represent, it is easy to plug them into a content strategy, no matter what I am sharing about.
Fun, can be fun in my business, with family and friends, out and about, fun social shares and so on. There is no limit and I have learned how to use humor in a way that pushes the boundary at times, but doesn’t ever offend. Or, at least not that I have been told.
Some things I do, in no particular order, that I can plug into my F words content plan – travel, Facebook Live, books I am reading, social time, social media education, BNI, holidays, curler chronicles, speaking events, walking, workouts, yoga, laughing at myself over things, cooking, working my business on the go while tending to my aging parents. And, more.
