Developing an Effective Morning and Daily Routine
On today’s show, I’m going to share my Morning and Daily Routine in Direct Sales, and cover a typical day in my own business, encompassing both online and offline activities. I also cover some of the weekly and monthly activities as they fit in.

Morning and Daily Routine in Direct Sales
In my previous show, I covered productivity hacks for Direct Sales and gave you some starting points for being more productive. Now, we get into the nuts and bolts of setting yourself up for success with your Morning and Daily Routine in Direct Sales.
The reality is that to be truly effective, it’s important to start the day right, for the most productivity.
Everyone must find their own way and the rest of your life will dictate what you can and can not do.
And, so goes the demands on our time.
So, let me just share my day and then you can determine what of that might fit for you.
This is the most important part of my day, as it sets things up to flow smoothly when I start things out right.
Prayer, meditation and silence.
Affirmations and visualization.
Health and Fitness. I am adapting this and really starting to adhere to the 10 minutes every hour to get up and move in some way. Walk the dog. Run to Post Office or bank. Beach walk. Lunges, Stairs, yoga, stretching. YouTube videos.

The night before, I set up my to do list.
I follow my own coaching of a set number of new contacts to make each day, and they will vary depending on where I am in the process for the month of sponsoring and launching new team partners.
Offline Activities for the Week
This usually involves networking and vendor events, one on ones and in home workshops I am running. This will vary week to week.
Online Activities for the Week
I create at least one piece of content daily online. Blog post, video, podcast, Facebook Live, Periscope, etc.
I share content on my pages and in groups that I facilitate, as well as groups I participate in.
I run Facebook events and workshops.
I also have my coaching practice so I have times blocked off each week for my clients.
I like to block out my calendar so that I create 3-4 podcasts at one time; 3-4 videos, weekly updates for Facebook groups and pages, image quotes and so on.
When I can sit down and block all of this out and know each day what I am doing, then it flows easily and my time is SO much more productive.
The key to this is to sit down with your calendar and write in everything you must do that is non negotiable. Then, you create blocks of time and decide what the most effective things are that you will do in that chunk of time.
And, then the most important step – commit to that calendar and the time you have blocked. Yes, real life comes up and gets in the way, but if it’s in the calendar, it stands a lot higher chance of getting done!
Each night, I write out my to do list and make sure my calendar is blocked in for the following day, so I know what to expect and be working on. I also use Sunday after noon to do my best to plan out the week.
3 most important things in ANY day for your Direct Sales business – Reach out to XX number of new contacts each day – party or business. Follow up with previous contacts. Reach out to a customer or two each day. This should all get your set to develop your Morning and Daily Routine in Direct Sales!
