Putting the Fun in Your Network Marketing Business
Enjoy the journey in Network Marketing – why I always thought this was such a dumb thing to say, until I “Got it!”
First, make a decision to HAVE FUN!
People love to be around FUN because most have so little of it in their careers.
Focus on abundance and not scarcity. This can be a challenge, and it is SO important because you can’t really move forward when you are focused on what you do not have.
Fear, self doubt, jealousy and these tough emotions are a challenge. We want to acknowledge them, and at the same time, ask them to move right along.
Make a list of everything you might have, do and be once you hit your goals.
Create a dream book or vision board. Set aside three hours to yourself, put on great music, write candles, maybe even pour a glass of bubbly and just dream big!
Get out of the feeling of lack, and this starts by starting with a gratitude exercise.
Do you have what you need RIGHT NOW? Roof over your head, car to drive, food in the house, warmth or cold, depending on the season, a bed to sleep in, someone who loves you, even if just your dog?
We live in the RIGHT now, so focus on finding the joy in each minute and then plan how you can take action each day to create more of what you want.
Develop some success language, if you are fearful, to let people know you have a business you are having fun with and wonder if you can practice on them.
Ask for feedback, and be open to it. Ask for their input. What would they do differently? How might you improve?
Have fun with your team! Plan team calls, and just share and engage. Plan local events for those in the area – pizza night, or movie night and just stuff to be social and have fun. Business will come up, naturally.
Plan special events for your team at your company convention. Promote it weekly for at least 90 days leading up to the event. Have people pre-register so THEY are more likely to attend.
Remember your team on special occasions – birthday’s anniversaries and anniversaries on your team.
Make it a goal to reach out to one person to make them feel special each day.
You’ve heard it before but a daily gratitude journal can really take you places!
1. Read the success stories of others and determine – what did they do that I am not doing?
2. When is your next company event? Get registered and get it on your calendar. Ask those on your team to JOIN you and share some ideas of what you’ll do together there.
3. Have a small gathering for your local team – just for fun – not business oriented. Business will naturally come up!
4. Send fun cards to your team and prospects that keep you on their mind, but don’t directly talk about business.
