Have you ever thought about how the work that you choose to engage in dictates the choices in your life?
I recently had the chance to once again prove to myself how invaluable it has been to have made the decision to begin my career in Direct Sales and Network Marketing back in January, 1994. It has given me the ability to make choices that I might not have been able to make otherwise.
My good friend Megan called with an SOS plea for someone to drive her to Las Vegas for the day and back that same night. She has some medical challenges and currently is not supposed to be driving.
Thanks to my home business, I was able to help out; drive her over; have a fun day and come back that night. We shot a video along the way.
It’s worth noting that I didn’t start off a huge success. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. I did stick with it, though and am so grateful I have!

I do believe in the power of direct sales/network marketing, but understand why someone would call it quits! It’s tough to hang at times, but I am here to stay!

It is tough to hang in there at times and I, for sure, have had my times of wanting to call it quits. That is where the importance of live events comes in and actually BEING in the presence (not just on conference calls) of those who have and are doing it is important. It’s important to hear their stories and realize that it wasn’t a cake walk for them either. They just stuck with it!
