Gratitude For What You Have and Want
As we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US, I wish you a feeling of abundance and gratitude, wherever you may be. I’ve recorded an experience to take you through an exercise to move you into abundance. Now is a good time to begin thinking about what you want; Where you are headed; How you feel about where you are headed.
Every day is a perfect day to practice gratitude and thanksgiving. And, to focus on manifesting what you want in your life.

It’s my thought that you can predict where you are going by the words you say to yourself, silently or out loud. Pay attention to what you speak.
The words you share are what direct your brain what to think, focus on and manifest for you. What to being into BEING in your life.
We are going to set goals in a later show to close out the year. Now is a good time to begin thinking about what you want. Where you are headed. How you feel about where you are headed.
What are you telling your brain? Is it in alignment with what you say you want?
Use today to start directing your destiny.
Do you dream? Regularly? Do you think about what you really WANT in your life?
Do you dream from a place of abundance? Often, people stop dreaming because they are afraid of facing what they DON’T have. They don’t want to feel scarcity and lack.
Starting today, this Thanksgiving, I want to take you through a little exercise to move you into abundance.
I encourage you to make a list of 25 things you REALLY want in your life.
Get bold, brave and think BIG, about what you want. Write down that list of 25 big things.
Please stop the call and take some time to write those things down.
Okay, how did you do?
I’ve done this exercise before and chances are you have too.
Hopefully, you’ve written a few things down. Let’s look at that list and evaluate it.
How many things on that list are things you already have?
Chances are, none of them.
And, why not?
Why do we think a list of everything we want is made up of those things we don’t have?
Abundance starts with a feeling around what we already have. So, why not add those things we have that we want in our lives to that list of things we want.
In fact, make half of that list what you already have.
Every other one.
Great Health, a great marriage, your children, family and friends, a roof over your head and your basic and even other needs being met. Joy, happiness, abundance.
Try this and then see how lit shifts you to a place of abundance. A FEELING of abundance. Things really shift when you begin to come from a place of abundance to begin with and not lack. We slip into lack, even so slightly when we are only focused on what we want that we don’t yet have.
It’s an energy shift when you can fully focus on what you have already that you love and want fully.
It allows you to easily start dreaming again. Because your brain shifts to seeing that you CAN get and have what you want, because you already do! How powerful is that?
Personally, I want a life that is full of freedom, fun and fabulousness.
What do you want? And what do you have written down? Yes, written down because there is power in the written aspect. It becomes more real and a path will open on how to get there.
Pick a goal. One goal from your list of 25. Make it specific. We’ll come back to that in our gaol setting show.
For now, just get into a good, feeling place of having it. Maybe you already do.
Wake Up to the Life You Live
Take 5 minutes to close your eyes, and breathe in deep, and release, breathe in deep, and release. Let a calm settle over you.
Open your eyes and look around at your environment. What do you see? Instead of labeling anything, just look around as if seeing it for the first time and see it as a miracle, whatever it is. As a newborn baby would. See it as you want it to be.
Then, in a journal, or notebook or piece of paper, write a paragraph about what you see and how you experienced it. Reflect on it and silently offer gratitude.
Consider starting a Gratitude and Joy Jar or box. Get a canning type jar, or any jar with a lid. It can be fancy or not, and you can even use a box. I have used a pretty gift box in the past. Each day, write out something you are grateful for that day. You can even write things that you are expecting to come to pass. Put them in the jar. At the end of 30 days, you can continue to add to the jar, and then each day, close your eyes. Reach into the jar and draw out a slip of paper and read it. Feel gratitude about it. Experience it in your mind.
