Social Media as an Infomercial in Your Direct Sales Business
Have you ever watched or maybe even purchased from an informercial? Ever notice how it is like a story line?
And, even though they are selling something, it doesn’t seem so salesy because of the way it is scripted.
It’s really a brilliant form of marketing because it shares a story, with real people and testimonials and you never really feel like you are being sold, but there is a sale pitch and a sense of urgency.
They show the benefits and provide value throughout the show, and you begin to think you can’t live without it, and the benefits it offers you.
Value, value, value.
They show how to use the product, the benefits, and offer testimonials. And, it’s not just the company standing there saying how great it is.
Think about this in your Direct Sales business. When you just go on and on about it, you sound like a sales job, because people realize you are profiting from sales. When you use Social Media as an Infomercial in your direct sales business, you provide value, while subtly selling your products through the benefits!
When most networkers use graphics from their company site to showcase their products, they just look like another ad.
But, when you get yourself involved in the process, and have your face attached to it, it brings the message closer to home.
What products have you used and have a testimonial around?
Create some video and photo testimonials.
And, maybe sample out some products and ask for a testimonial.
Or, contact some current customers.
We are solutions providers, no matter what you are selling. People are not looking for your product, service or even the opportunity. They are looking for a solution!
How does what you offer through your network marketing company benefit the end user? How can you better use Social Media as an Infomercial in Your Direct Sales Business?
And, remember that reusing company photos that many others have used on Facebook can get you thrown in Facebook jail, as they track that type of thing.
Take your catalog and product line, and develop a schedule and a theme to showcase these products over weeks and months.
