The Struggle is REAL in Direct Sales
I know how you feel, and I have not forgotten my early struggles. It was so exciting, right? The possibilities before you in your Network Marketing business and career.
But, then reality sets in. There are things you have to LEARN and things you have to DO..
Whether you are just getting started, staring with a blank look at your “Getting Started” Guide, or you’ve been in awhile and are having a hard time getting moving, you know what I am talking about!
How to Get to Where You Want to Be
Here are just a few of the things you want to learn and master to be successful and get where you want to be in your Direct Sales business.
- Master the art of WHY and VISION – I know you’ve heard this before, but have you taken it SERIOUSLY? It’s not just about how much money you want to make, it’s about how your LIFE will change.
- Get in touch with “yourself.” What? Yes, do a personal inventory so you are clear on some things going on with you that will make you successful, or hold you back.
- Go beyond just setting “Goals” – be intentional about exactly what each day will look like in your business.
- Communicate your plans, hopes, dreams and expectations with those closest to you. Develop a support system with your family and others. You have to do more than just “talk” about a business, though!
- Master the art of Success Language – when you know WHAT you are going to say, without feeling like an idiot, and you know how to do this by phone, text, email and through Social Media tools like Facebook, then you will be much more inclined to take action each day. And, we all know that making new contacts daily and weekly, and sharing our products, services and business with others is what must happen!
- Become More Productive! Know how to set yourself up for a productive day in your business, even if that’s just one hour a day, broken into 15 minute segments.
- Know that there is often a lot of “self deception” going on in your head that is holding you back. Work to get control of this.
- Set realistic expectations for your business and understand how to handle it when disappointments come your way.
- Develop a solid follow up plan so you catch people when the time is right for them. When you stay consistent with this, your business WILL grow with many people who said no in the beginning.
- Develop an ongoing plan to use Facebook to grow your business, and support and duplicate with your team.
- Develop an effective morning routine and a daily routine for life and business.
This may sound like a lot, but if you focus on one of these areas for growth each day, you will soon master them.
