It can be a downer to only look at results in our direct sales business.
We talk to a few people and no one buys or says yes. We think it must not work, Or , it must be us. Maybe Network Marketing is a bad idea.
We are developing skills, and it takes time.
What you say and how you say it does matter. Success Language. We’ve talked about this many times and you can learn more at StreetSmartScripts.com
Network and build relationships.
You will be rewarded or punished based on past behaviors and how you treat people. Their perception of you.
Focus on how you are progressing.
Track your actions. Focus only on those actions in the beginning.
An accounting colleague shared that her average time is 4-6 times to convert a client. Those are touch points she has had with the potential client along the way.
How many times are you connecting with your prospects?
This is where consistency is so important.
Are you working your list? Have you made your list? How many contacts are you making daily and weekly off that list? Are you sticking with your business plan no matter what the immediate outcome is?
Are you asking for referrals?
Are you creating new warm market? How are you doing that?
If you are networking and getting out in your community, you must show up to be taken seriously.
Are you making contacts when you are out and about? At coffee shops? Standing in line?
I had a very interesting experience in talking to someone about my business at the store recently. Listen in for the details.
How about talking to other parent’s at kid activities? Or are you in a shell?
Don’t focus on who buys or joins. Focus on making real connections, setting up one on ones and staying in touch.
This is a business of constant and repeated exposures of your business. You must be sharing what you are doing.
Focus on the progress you are making in your growth and business skill development and your team and income will grow with it.
