How Important is it to Attend Events in Direct Sales
Julie asks – how important is it that I attend events in my Network Marketing business? I have small children and my spouse is not that excited about me going.
I have lots to share on this from my own experiences of attending events and why they are important, and some tips and tricks to make things easier for everyone.

How Important Are Events to My Network Marketing Business Success?
Do you NEED to attend events? No. Is it advisable? Yes!
Here is what events do:
Build belief – yours and your team.
You’ll see lots of other people who are normal, fabulous and it will instill in you the belief that you can do this, too, if others were.
It will build a team bond and culture that can’t be replicated over conference calls.
You and your team will learn more in a weekend than 52 weeks of conference calls.
Your company event is always the most important, and there are also generic events.
If you are interested in a smaller, boutique type event with 10 people where we develop a vision and a plan that fits you, contact me! We are putting this together for January 2016.
Now, as far as your kids and your spouse – they will be fine. Your kids will love the time they get with just your spouse, and you will enjoy the break! Speaking mostly to the women here.

As far as your spouse’s support, now is when you need to have a heart to heart with yourself; decide how committed you are, and then have that heart to heart with your spouse. He or she may be frustrated if your business is not profitable and they don’t see you really take steps to change this.
