Tools for Direct Sales Success
We’ve covered how to get prepared and really LAUNCH your Direct Sales business, vs just JOIN, which is nothing more than becoming a customer with the ability to earn an income referring others.
LAUNCHING is what creates success.
So, let’s cover the tools you’ll need to maximize your 90 day blitz to success.
There are several different types, and some of these will vary based on your company and you’ll know what these are –
How do you share the business with someone once they are interested? You don’t want to try and explain this yourself – it overwhelms and confuses them. Tools do the “heavy lifting!” You want your prospect to be saying – “I can do this!”
Product Tools
What are you selling/marketing? You’ll want to have and use (at least once!) all of the products your company offers. Sometimes, there is a starter kit that has everything, but often there is a basic kit; a kit with a little more, and so on. Whatever the case, you may need to order above and beyond the kit, if it doesn’t contain everything!
Be a product of the product and replace EVERYTHING in your home with products offered by your company. Some products you may have never used before but try them anyway as you never know what you’ll find!
The last thing you want is for a prospect to ask about a product and you have not yet ordered or tried it! Yikes, that does not breed confidence.
Sharing and Opportunity Tools
How will you explain the business you are in to others, once they are interested?
Is it a video? A website? A conference call? Know and use the tools that have proven successful for others.
Sometimes the product itself is your strongest tool so share samples and don’t be afraid to make retail sales along the way!
Training Tools
How will you get your new team partners started? This is CRITICAL!
Don’t be afraid to call someone once they DO join your business. (I know, I’ve been there!)
Start with how your upline trained you!

Know the important things someone needs to get started. They don’t need to know everything about the comp plan but there are a few key things they will need –
How to order
Back office navigation
How to sign up a customer
How to sign up a new distributor
How to share the business with others
Those are some key things to focus on!
