How To Become an Entrepreneur through Network Marketing

First, let’s talk about how the lay person thinks about money – If you were given $1000 to spend on a sectional type sofa, what would you buy? Did you know that the US standard says that 90% of the country would spend $1500 on the sectional. So they would go $500 over. 9% would spend just the $1000 and break even and have the sofa.

But, the wealthiest people would figure out some way to fund it through a business. So, for instance., some would invest in some sort of vending machine. Buy a product, mark it up dramatically, save the earnings and go buy the sofa.

Now, they own the sofa, AND still an income producing asset.

This speaks a lot to mindset, ambition, delayed gratification and so on. Where do you fall in this grid? What would you do?

How To Become an Entrepreneur through Network Marketing

• Are you a bit of a misfit? Stuck in a cubicle? Day dreaming of hanging your own shingle? Then this journey might be for you!
• More and more people these days find they don’t fit into the corporate world.
• Moms
• Creatives
• Don’t like getting up early; set lunch times; days off;vacation times?

Stop waiting for permission. You’re an adult, and you don’t need it.

• opportunity is everywhere and you can grab hold of it.
• You just need to let go of fear
• You just need to prepare for your journey.
• Understand that it takes time; it takes investment; and it takes action.
• It takes getting outside of your comfort zone
• Letting go of attachment to what others think, even though they really aren’t thinking THAT much about you and your decisions.
• You won’t be absolutely sure of the outcome before you start. No one is. The successful ones just do it and don’t look back.

Network Marketing offers you some great advantages to learn entrepreneurship:

• no risk – low investment
• Robert Kiyosaki – Rich Dad Poor Dad and Network Marketing
• Not a pyramid – yes there are some scams, so be wise
• No, it’s not get rich quick
• Proven business model to plug into
• Today, great alternatives to bugging friends and family. NOTIFY – don’t bug.
• Social media changed the game!

Discipline is the key to your success. It drives willpower. So, let’s build your discipline muscle:

• Change your own mental programming. Listen to your self talk, write it down, and then CHANGE what is not serving you.
• Talk yourself into discipline. No matter what it is – diet, exercise, not eating the donut, contacting 2 people a day.
• Be willing to be bad so you can get good, so you can get great. Success is nothing but business skill development and taking action…the RIGHT actions
• Set a 60 day plan and then just do it. Seriously. Just do it. I decided to go pure Paleo and give up grains – ALL grains – a few weeks back. I went cold turkey. I decided on a Saturday afternoon to start on Sunday. I wasn’t even prepared but I got up and went to the store to get prepared. I started the streak and I kept it going. It’s still going. Will I blow it a few times? Yes, but I feel great and I see great changes and I’m committed now.
• Get rid of the bad habits – just do it – TV, news, social surfing, and whatever else your bad habit is. These don’t serve you in reaching your goal and becoming an entrepreneur.
• You are either “in” or you are “out.” You can’t be both.
• Celebrate your successes, but get back to work. You have work to do, so do it.
• Don’t be guilty of the missing ingredients – this is ACTION

Remember this – skills can be learned, resources are everywhere, discipline is a choice, don’t be lazy, you have permission!

1. Decide what you would do with the $1000 for the sectional sofa

2. Take a look at your mental programming and see what needs some changes.

3. Is fear standing in your way? What will you do about it?

4. Talk yourself into discipline. It’s just a decision.

5. Get rid of bad habits. Just get rid of them.

6. Affirm your decision to be an entrepreneur daily.
