Good Question, Beth – of course is is sales means service. We are not ‘getting’ people to buy things, we are seeing if we can serve there needs.
Actually sales comes from a Scandinavian word meaning ‘to serve’
So, to answer your question ‘how do you answer the question is it sales?’ I would say:
Well, yes it is a sales business and I love it! I bring value to peoples lives every day. What concerns you about sales?
