A question I hear a lot is – Most of the groups I find online are centered around the US and I live outside of the US. How do I find groups and prospects in my country so I can find and sponsor people into my business?

Most of the groups I find online are centered around the US and I live outside of the US. How do I find groups and prospects in my country so I can find and sponsor people into my business?

ANSWER

Know your opportunity first. Can you recruit outside of your country? Learn all of the details and if you are just looking for a company, make sure you choose one that is flexible in this way. Some are, some are not.

We are a global society now, and building a global team is FUN and lucrative!

I had a goal 15 years ago when I started online to build a business where the sun would never set on my income! Today, I have that. When I set that goal, my company was only in the US and Canada. That company is gone now, but global has been on my radar for years. And, my goal sheet.

Set aside some time to do some solid research.

Facebook – groups and pages

LinkedIn – groups

Pinterest – hashtags and the search

Twitter – hashtags

Several types of groups –

MLM

Network Marketing

Home Business

Direct Sales

Party plan

WAHM

These typically attract people from all over, not just US.

Lots of lurkers so you won’t always see the ones who are watching you. But, be consistent and people are watching you.

There are other types too –

Cooking

Home schooling

Wine

Travel

What are YOUR interests, where you can meet people and develop new warm market?

Pages on Facebook-

Robert Kiyosaki – Business Oriented Thinking and Training

John Maxwell – Leadership

Starbucks – Coffee Lovers – outside interest

Brighton – Jewelry, higher end costume jewelry, and potential target audience

Ask others who are in your country and involved in Network Marketing if they have any to recommend.

Ask in the groups you are already part of.

Don’t forget forums outside of Facebook. Use Google. And, Google Plus!

People are everywhere as is our target audience. Ask, research, google, use search features, and such. It may take some time, but I learned to measure my time online to other things I did offline.

For instance, attending a meeting offline takes about 3 hours with drive time, the meeting and such. How much can I get done online in 3 hours? Who might I find and connect with?

Just one other way of thinking of it!
