Gotcha, right? C’mon, I did a little!
Since you are reading this, I’m going to make a few assumptions. I know, I know, what happens when we ASS-UME? I get the “risk” I run! But stick with me and see if I am correct. If not, call me out below – I can take it, ha ha!
When you read this headline, you got a reaction – either good or bad. You either read it and felt a little defensive…a little “Yeah, but…”
Or, you felt empowered and said – I’m a champion, dontachaknow?!?!
So, which was it? I would love to hear below in the comments! Let’s chat about it!
A few weeks ago, I talked about Mach II With Your Hair on Fire and the impact it had on my life and business. It still does to this day.
I shared author Richard Brooke’s thoughts on how he changed and what he changed. Read it here!
Today, I want to talk to you about being a Chicken or a Champion.
Every day, all throughout our lives, we are faced with the decision to be one or the other – Chicken or Champion.
How many times do you chicken out in your business? Decide not to make the call; start the conversation; ask for or offer a business card?
Do you do this regularly? And, if so, are you having the results you want in your business?
Here is the thing about success – any type of success.
You are going to get knocked down. We all do. Just pick yourself up and dust yourself off.
You are going to have some people in your life who might laugh at you, or poke fun at what you are doing. Ask yourself – do you REALLY care what they think? Do they pay your bills; feed your family; or take care of you in any way financially? And, if they are really all that important to you, why would they treat you this way?
You might not get everything you ever wanted, but if you keep at it, and make champion choices each day, you will achieve results beyond your wildest dreams!
Here is a homework assignment for you – get a sticky note and write – Chicken or Champion? – on it. Place it on your bathroom mirror. Each morning, when you get up, read that sticky note and decide which you will be for the day. Each night, before bed, read it and determine, which were you for the day?
The choice is ALWAYS yours!
What thoughts do you have about Mach II? Please share them below.

You have a homework assignment with this one – when you read the headline, did you feel defensive or empowered?
I would love to start a conversation!

I admit it…I'm a chicken! I can find 100 other things to do around the house other than make a phone call regarding my business!

Hi Jackie,
I love this Chicken or Champion post! Indeed the choice is always ours! Sadly, some people may have issues in their lives that they just cannot see the possibilities. While there are many network marketing leaders who advocate ‘sorting’ through the prospects, I think Tim Sales’ way of communicating with others is doing the prospects a service.
We do need to challenge others’ thinking a times! Do we REALLY care what others might think of us? Do we care enough to challenge? It takes courage for a leader to ask brilliant questions so as to gently guide the prospect to see beyond their present predicaments.
I appreciate your insights, Jackie!
