Are you being realistic about what it takes to build a successful online business?
Is it possible to build a highly successful online business and how fast can you build it?
Can an online presence generate leads for your Network Marketing business?
Do you need to spend a ton of money on “guru launch” products?
How much is it REALLY going to cost me?
These are all great questions and ones I hear all of the time. To answer these questions, I want to share my story with you and the steps that I have taken since October, 1999.
Here is one thing I want to strongly impress upon you – please don’t feel that there is secret to success other than taking action and staying committed. You need a few key things in place. Here are the tools I have used consistently for success:
A personal website/Blog that sells and BRANDS me (not a company or team replicated site)
A lead capture/auto-responder system
A knowledge of how to be effective in Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) These are the Marketing Funnels that point traffic to your site.
An understanding that to be effective online, you must be willing to create content or some sort.
An understanding that once that content is created, your job is to MARKET it and drive eyeballs to it!
An understanding that it is at least a 2 -5 year business plan.

The key is – you gotta get it started. Ask yourself some questions:
Do you have a blog or personal website? If not, give yourself a target date to get it done.
Do you have a way to capture those leads online? If not, give yourself a target date to get it done.
Do you understand how to be effective in Social Media? If not, give yourself a target date to get it done.
Are you willing to commit to the 2 – 5 year plan?
Once you have a presence online, and other go looking for your particular company, or network marketing or information/education on the topics you are blogging about, there is a good chance they will find YOU. This is what will begin to generate traffic to your blog, and in turn some of these people will become interested in what you do, and partnering with you.
Your lead capture system is what converts them to a lead that you can now follow up with!

I have been trying to build my business offline for over two years but am interested in speeding up the process by using the internet but I don’t know how to set up an autoresponder or how to build a website or blog.

thanks for sharing your thoughtful video. What you describe is known to me as the “Slight Edge”-approach according to Jeff Olson’s great book. It’s about daily consistent action over a longer period of time that virtually guarantees success.
