Thanks Derek and Richard! I’m not one for resolutions or loss, ha ha! I’m for setting INTENTIONS that I hold myself accountable for and that seems to make a big difference!
Looking forward to all that 2011 offers up!

My theme for the past year was 2010: Begin Again! There were major transformations I wanted to make. I did not accomplish all of them, but did for some significant personal areas. I do not consider it a failure if I didn’t reach all my goals. It’s cleared away some and leaves 2011 open and free to achieve the others!
For health, I’ve set specific weight reduction goals. Please note, weight ‘reduction’ not loss. What happens when we lose something? We try to find it and get it back! Nope. No loss, just a reduction. I’ve hooked up with fantastic woman, Deb Bixler, and her plan for a healthy approach.
I’m also planning to develop a couple of different home income streams to complement my ‘job pay check’ and work towards allowing Lynda, my wife, to leave her job. She will be the first to leave; I’ll be second.
One thing different for me this year, I’m not making resolutions. I’m setting actual goals and I’m making them SMART goals. If someone isn’t sure about what a SMART goal is, just check out http://derekbly.blogspot.com. I’ve shared a bit about the concept.
Learn from the past, but keep your vision set on the future!

Hey Jackie,
Thanks so much for your inspiring video and really looking forward to working with you and the team in the coming year. I’m pretty excited about all the challenges ahead as I know it will be fun learning from them and gaining experience. Since I escaped my desk job in the City of London last summer I definitely feel much more relaxed about life in general and apparently I seem a much happier person (so my husband tells me…). It’s been an amazing voyage of discovery and I’m loving it. This will be another year of learning (last year was my junior year and now I’m about to enter the senior high school year, then college, university, etc – that’s the way I’ve chosen to look at this journey over the next few years :-)). Take care and thanks again for all your words of wisdom. Sandra from a rather chilly part of the UK
Jackie Ulmer says
Sandra! It’s so exciting to be working with you as well and I look forward to watching your business bloom and you create an exciting dynasty in the UK! It’s wide open for you there and with your bubbly personality; and zest for learning/mastering, you will be successful.
I love how you are approaching your learning and mastering of the business. Please let me know any way that I might assist!

Happy New Year Jackie!
Yes, New Year New beginnings.
Although it is just another day…
something about a new year and a fresh
start gets us motivated to pull out our
journals and map out our life and what
we want in the new year.
It’s a great time to let go of the things
that did not serve us, learn from them…
and move on.
Thank You Jackie
Alice
Jackie Ulmer says

Ah Tom, your words are music to my ears – cutting loose of many burdens. It’s funny how we can get stuck in the “small stuff” and not live up to our full potential each and every day!
I appreciate your fresh focus; and new game plan! Please continue sharing the details as it is SO inspiring to me!
