I know, is that a JOKE, right? No one seriously gets into Network Marketing to build is slowly….
But, what if you are misunderstanding the concept behind the GRS idea, or Get Rich Slow? Do you understand how this works in a Direct Sales business?
My good friend, John Fogg, introduced me to this concept back in the early 2000s, and I have to say, when I first heard it, I could not have been less interested in knowing more. Like most, I was looking for FAST CASH and a quick and easy way to build a lasting downline.
Over time, as I began to understand the “relationship side” of the Network Marketing business model, it all began to make sense.
This is really “attraction marketing” at its finest, and at its purest intent.

Get Rich Slow is a great motto for the very reasons you mention. It’s about slowing down and creating relationship. People don’t want to be friends with a salesman, but they’ll buy from a friend.
Interesting that we promote the idea that MLM is all about enjoying life more so we can slow down and smell the roses, but we’ew often caught up in a frenzy of MLM activity. Got to find a healthy balance…

I still miss Upline and have all of my back issues! Now of course there is Networking Times which is great! And yes, it is about slowing down. We speed up in our hurry to get there and slow ourselves down in that process. Thanks for sharing John!
