Hey Jackie,
I am not sure if this question was asked…some people aren’t as skilled as others when it comes to copywriting..what would you recommend to those when asked the question where do you get daily content and/or does content need to come from you; and how often should they post to their blog?

Good question! In my report, “Profit in Your PJs” ,through my newsletter, I talk about creating content, etc. I started by just pulling a Network Marketing book off of my book shelf and picking a topic; then writing about it from my own experience.
Over time, you get better, more comfortable and then begin to take real life experiences and relate them to business.
Hope that helps! I am planning a video on Content Creation, so stay tuned!

Jackie,
I love that you are offering this assistance and I am looking forward to your responses! I have recently started my blog and I am really unclear on how to get traffic to my site and my blog. I realize it takes effort to get visitors to your blog and what I worry about is spending too much time on that effort vs. getting out in my community to meet new people. So I guess my biggest question is how to build an online presence without becoming someone who sits at the computer all day!
Thanks!

I’m not very techno savvy when it comes to video. What equipment do you use when making your videos and how do you go about posting them?

Hi Jackie,
Thanks so much for your offer to help us! My most pressing question has two parts: how to drive more traffic to my company website (www.kathyrowland.myarbonne.com) and how to revise the website so that when the traffic gets there it results in profit. I am using Facebook (www.facebook.com/beautyandblessings) and Twitter but could definitely use pointers on maximizing those tools for results as well. Also, it seems business/internet coaches, writers, etc. have different challenges/possibilities than those selling hands on products. My f2f business is more successful right now because people can know me (like me, trust me :). It’s hard to accomplish that online, especially with higher end products. Okay, that’s way more than one question…thanks for whatever help you can give!! ~Kathy

Wow! There are some GREAT questions in here and many that were my questions, too, when I started. Can’t wait to dig in! Thanks!

Jackie, I’ve learned from you that you branding yourself is the most important thing you can do to set yourself for long term success in direct sales/network marketing. If you have had limited success (so far) but you are committed to being a pro, how do you start branding yourself NOW without the results?
Brandi says
What do you suggest is the best way to begin online marketing through social media, such as facebook? It seems like the perfect way to attract new customers, but I’m just not sure how to get started.. Thank-you so much for your generosity!!

I know it takes time to build a business but traffic aside, how can I build a good online customer base? What’s the secret of getting them to buy from your website? I do alot of online marketing and not really interested in starting a blog, get lots of visitors but really want them to come back to purchase. I use facebook and twitter to get traffic so that seems to be working out good. Thank you for any answer you can give :).

Hi Jackie and all other readers. I am so excited I just got my website up an running!!! It is no where near done, a work in progress, but I think you just have to get in there and start somewhere. Don’t be scared that it is not perfect it will just get better as you learn more.
I want to say thank you Jackie for all the information that you make available to us. It is very helpful.
My question is What is the best way to start building you list.
Maddie Christopher says
Hi Jackie,
I too have been following you on FB, watching your videos and haven’t made a move, yet, to incorporate your suggestions.
Where do I start? I’m not particularly good at creative writing or video creation (don’t like myself on camera!), and yet I realize how important these tools are.
Thank you so much for your willingness to help (us all), in gratitude, Maddie

I have a blog mainly set up as a squeeze page at the moment. Not sure what to write about on this blog to attract leads. Not sure how to stand out and be different from all the other blogs in the MLM niche.

Hi Jackie: I’ve been following you on Facebook and I am having the hardest time just trying to get the word out about my business and products. I’ve been told to “Brand” myself and then people will follow you and not particularly your company. That is not working. I don’t know anything about “blogging” and I don’t have a lot of extra funds to invest so I’m looking for guidance. My website is http://www.scents-by-sheryl.scent-team.com. Thank you and have a wonderful time in Portland.

Oooh what an utterly splendid opportunity to pick the brains of someone who’s Really been there, done that.
I don’t really have a question yet – but I’m going to be reading everyone else’s with interest and will share this with my friends too as I know they’ll jump at the chance to get their questions answered.
Love all this generosity!
Bliss and blessings and thanks,
Jacqui

Jackie, my website http://www.rocksolidwealthdesigns.com is pretty new. It is not a blog. What is the #1 thing I can do in your opinion to drive traffic there and get a high conversion rate?
Faye Blanchard says
I want to know if it is better to have a personal blog,(where you talk about the things and issues in your area of need), or a business blog. I don’t have much experience in network marketing, (I am learning)?
Lynette says
Hi Jackie,
How do you suggest someone market a new blog?
Carrie A Groff says
Hello Jackie! I’ve learned so much from you and look forward to learning more. My biggest struggle with online marketing is getting more traffic to our website: http://www.thebarefootentrepreneurs.com
How can I get more traffic to our website and get qualified leads? Our goal with our home business is to make $10,000 per month (to start off) and move to the beach and help as many other people we can create the lifestyle they dream of. We are lucky to be under 30 years old and have found and realized the potential having a network marketing business can do for our lives. We want to share that with as many people as we can, especially younger people in our age range, but I am struggling to get traffic to our site and get qualified leads without spending hundreds of dollars.
Thanks for all your help! You are a great leader!

Hi Jackie, I have learned that it will be effective to learn both online marketing skills (blogging to get prospects, lead capture pages) and offline network marketing skills (calling up interested prospects, finding their needs, handling objections) in your MLM business.
Now, I have started to use online strategies like blogging for my MLM business as I want to bring my MLM business onto next level after about 1 year in it. However, for a newcomer who knew nothing about MLM yet, should I teach him blogging when he first started in the business, or basic MLM business skills? When will be the right time for the newcomer to learn online marketing strategies (e.g. blogging)? Thanks alot Jackie 😀

Thanks Jackie, for the opportunity to ask questions here!
I’m trying to narrow down mine. I have so many. Am I nuts to think I can work with 3 blogs simultaneously? All 3 seem important to me. Well, 2 in particular. http://www.gracetodayblog.com (for caregivers and special needs parents), http://www.inspirednetworkmarketer.com , and http://www.yourinternetcoach.net (more generic). Two have the same opt-in “report” but the caregiver one will have something completely different. I’m almost finished with that one. Trying to figure out how to map out my plan having 3 blogs!
And if I could ask a second question, I’m going to write a post or article something to the affect of “I have people opting in. Now what?” because that’s where I am. What would the “gurus” say about “Now what?”
Thanks again!

So I’ve been wanting to start my own blog, but can’t decide what to call it and if I should stick to one subject for blogging. I have a lot of experience in business, and have owned a children’s fitness facility for 15 years. For the past 7 months I’ve been involved with a health & nutrition network marketing company. I want to drive traffic to my network marketing business, so obviously my blog needs to be related, but I’m not a network marketing expert by any means. I’m passionate and knowlegable about many subjects, and just not sure where to start on my blog and what to call it!! Thanks for any insight.
