What’s your Daily Method of Operation?
As I coach my own team and clients, this is the first question I will ask people who are struggling in their business – let’s take a look at your “DMO” (Daily Method of Operation) or Single Daily Action plan.
That question is most often met with a “deer in the headlights” look. Which, to be honest, is highly puzzling to me!
If you work a job (or when you did); or go to school; or almost anything, you operate from a job description, or list of what must be done, right?
So, why would it be any different in your business?
Here is the exciting, simple part – there are only a few things you need to learn to do consistently and with mastery of the skill set –
Contact new people.
Invite them to take a look, by using proper language and questions.
Show the business using company tools.
Follow up.
Sponsor, train and duplicate.
Continue following up, with those who “do” and those who “don’t!”
Do this, and you will achieve everything you ever wanted and others on your team will, too!
Now, once you have gone through your initial list, you’ll need to be adding new people to that list constantly. And so, how do you find new people?
They are EVERYWHERE.
Offline, there are people at your children’s activities, people as you are out and about, and plenty of people at Networking and MeetUp groups.
Online, there are scores of places to meet people. Who is your target audience? Where do they “hang out” and what are they looking for? Facebook has been a huge source for me, as well as Youtube.
Facebook works great when used correctly.
So, does YouTube.
Recently, I was notified that I made the top 5% of most viewed profiles on LinkedIn.
And, of course your Blog is the starting point for things online. Get the simple WordPress set up guide if you have not started this!
So, how is your calendar looking? What’s in there? If you have not fully scheduled business activities into your calendar, get it out NOW and get this done for the year! Then, you can track your actions, results and SUCCESS!

Thanks for this post Jackie. Just like any other task, why would we think our business related tasks do not need to be given attention everyday, like you have suggested? I have been doing a list of to do’s for the next day before I go to bed. This helps me focus and do some unique blog content creation everyday with the result of I have been able to do 6 to 7 blog posts per week.
Add that up over a year and you have a blog full of unique content
I really appreciate your blog and your perspective.
Regards,
Ross Freiberg..

Great steps to build any Internet Marketing business, too. The methods may differ slightly, but the principles are the same.
