How to Achieve Your Goals
Someone told me once – if it’s not in your calendar, it won’t get done. Boy, how true that is. I make sure my calendar is complete, full and shows me “SUCCESS” when I look at it because I know I am taking the right steps to move me toward my goals.
So, setting those goals is important, and here is how to do it.
First, it starts with your why –
WHAT do you REALLY want to achieve in your business?
WHAT will that do for you once you achieve it?
HOW will you feel if you don’t achieve it?
WHAT motivates you and moves you forward each day to achieving it? Have you taken the time to write down your why? Are you evaluating it every day?
Second, look at your company/team system and determine what the steps are that you need to be taking each day to create success in your business. 4 actions must occur regularly –
Prospecting
Follow Up
Enrolling
Launching a new team partner.
Schedule your calendar each day so that you are taking these action steps.
In the beginning, your focus will be based all around prospecting and follow up. As you get your business going and are bringing in new people, enrolling and business launch will even out your daily/weekly plan. Work with those who want to build and earn your time. You can’t drag everyone across the finish line!
If you want to achieve the goals you have created for yourself, you must be constantly developing your success muscles around these 4 key components.
So, what are YOU doing today in each of these 4 areas? Keep a daily journal and evaluate it each week. Then, you will know what’s working, what’s not, and if YOU are working!
