Today, I am happy to tell you that I am living my dream lifestyle. But, it didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t happen without some challenges and a lot of “learning opportunities” along the way.
Does that sound like you at all?
Some people call those learning opportunities and challenges – failures – and I did, too, at first. In fact, I don’t know a successful entrepreneur in any business, whether it be network marketing, real estate, internet marketers, or brick and mortar business owners who didn’t feel this same way at time.
I have built a high six figure annual income working my business from home using High Tech (Internet) and High Touch (Phone and Face to Face) techniques. Would you like to do this, too? And by the way, I only share this because I want you to know that it can be done by anyone willing to commit to and put forth the effort required to be successful. It’s certainly not because I want to brag. I’m just a very ordinary person.
Read on to see if my story sounds a little like you!
Before My Home Business
My background is similar to many, maybe even yours. I had a bright, promising career in airline marketing. Boy, did I have fun. I was NOT someone who hated my job. I loved it!
I enjoyed traveling the world, a good income and an expense account. Although I had fun, my time really wasn’t my own. I had a boss and an alarm clock. When it was time to start a family, I struggled with the same decision as millions of women and men.
Should I go back to work, leaving my children in someone else’s care? Or should I give up my career and raise my children myself?
The choice was simple. My family came first. But, it didn’t stop me from wanting to continue my career or from wanting to create an incredible lifestyle. There had to be a way I could work from home, earn a great income and still be with my children.
I had read numerous stories of people that were doing just that….working from home, raising their children themselves and finding a balance doing both.
Direct Sales and MLM / Network Marketing was the last thing on my mind and the last thing I was looking for. I can’t tell you why for certain, but I “knew” those things were bad and something to be avoided at all costs.

Network Marketing was the one thing that seemed to fit the profile of exactly what I was looking for (but, ewwww, really? I had a negative mental blueprint to overcome, that’s for sure!)
But here is what it offered and it was appealing:

After educating myself, I quickly determined that I was uneducated about what Direct Sales and Network Marketing truly is, and I was about to let my own ignorance prevent me from taking advantage of the one home based business opportunity that fit my criteria perfectly.
So, I jumped in. I read every piece of information I could get my hands on and attended every training. That was January, 1994, and boy, we’ve come a long way baby!
Today, Warren Buffet owns a Network Marketing company. Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and Donald Trump have written books extolling its virtues. I decided to join the ranks of those who were successful.
I made a commitment to educate myself on what was out there, select something that worked for me and my family, apply the time, dedication and perseverance that I knew it would take and reap the rewards!
I wanted something in an industry that is fast-growing, recession proof, and that people use and want.
I also wanted something that would provide an on-going residual income. You know, something that would pay me over and over for the work that I do one time!
I did not have immediate success, but I did develop my business skills and become a better communicator. I was too stubborn to quit, really. I wanted to be one of the success stories and not a casualty!
Over time, I replaced my career income and things started taking off.
Wow! The Internet Changed Everything!
I built a successful business offline, by making my list and contacting everyone I knew. It worked and I did okay, but I was not finding the time freedom or the level of income I wanted. I joined networking events; ran ads; and bought opportunity leads. All of these methods brought me certain levels of success.
But, I was convinced there was another way.
And, I had small children and was tired of being “outside of my home base” building my home based business.
I wanted to create multiple streams of income. I wanted to truly work from home. I wanted to have dozens and hundreds of people looking at my business daily, and even hourly!
I had a growing fascination with the Internet, its potential and the idea that one could make an incredible income online, while at home in PJs or blue jeans! One thing I know for sure, the Internet is here to stay and it has made the reality of having your own successful home based business better than ever.
Combine that power with the fact that 96% of people polled want to own their own business and most want to work from home! I began my research and, quite honestly, haven’t stopped. After investigating a lot of things, I settled on the ones that work for me, and that’s what is presented here!
Creating Multiple Streams of Income
When I left my first Network Marketing company (which filed bankruptcy a little while later) I made a decision not to leave all my eggs in one basket ever again. If you’ve had a company take a nice paycheck that you worked hard for, you know what I mean. It’s like being downsized.
You need to know right now that it is possible for you to build multiple streams of income online (and it takes TIME and a serious commitment. I have never quit, wavered or slowed down.)
There’s a very precise way to do it, and, as a member of my coaching program, or through my training programs, I will teach you how. I will show you exactly what I have done and then it’s up to you to decide if you want to follow along.
You’ll want to define a specific business plan with network marketing; affiliate programs that complement what you are doing; and eventually, your own products.
Please understand that I don’t offer get-rich-quick schemes. While you can make a lot of money fast, it usually takes effort and consistency.
But, that is the only way you will get what you truly want.
Over two decades later, I’m happy to tell you that I am doing just that. I have a thriving home business! One that provides a great income, allows me to be my own boss, be with my family, travel the world and still make money. It provides ongoing personal growth, education and development and the chance to help others get what they want!
What I’ve Learned Along the Way
And, I’ve learned a lot along the way: how to choose the right programs, how to build a successful business, how to teach others to do the same and how to create multiple streams of income, thanks to the Internet. I want to share all of this information with you.
My time is my own! My kids never did have to go to daycare! And we live a lifestyle that I used to only dream about. No money or time pressures! Imagine that! And, because I work in an industry that is recession proof, fast growing and something used by everyone, I get paid while I’m with my family doing fun stuff; at the beach during the middle of the week; on vacation….even while I sleep!
That’s the benefit of residual income! In the process, I have coached thousands of other women and men on how to start, own and operate a successful home business.
I’ve created training products; written several e-books; become a speaker, author and avid blogger.
