My dream come true interview!
A few months back, Gary Vaynerchuk, author of two best selling books – Crush It and The Thank You Economy tweeted about his 1 a day plan, to provide one 15 minute interview a day, for 365 days, and gave the link to set up an interview. I immediately went for it….
And, was rejected….
Well, I tried, shrugged my shoulder and went on about my business…
A few months later, an email landed in my box, offering me a time slot for the next day!
SCORE.
I connected with his assistant and we did the interview.
Starting online with his family’s wine business in 1997, to developing a full blown show and presence with WineLibrary.tv in 2006, he’s truly a pioneer in building a brand and multi-million dollar empire online.
His success catapulted him as a sought after speaker, author, and trainer on the phenomenon known as the internet and Social Media.

The Questions:
I polled my listeners and the top question is – What wine pairing would you recommend for this interview? (He deferred until the end of the interview!)
What advice do you have for getting started, managing time around already busy schedules? The work/life balance…

GOOD question – where do you/I go from here? So, I’m going to assume the question is for the READER, and then I’ll get to ME in a second!
First, you read Crush It….really! That book totally spoke to me, thus the huge desire to do the interview. From the moment I opened the book, I seriously said – This guy “gets me!” Who else goes to bed at 11pm, gets up at 2am with something just pounding away at the brain that HAD to be done, changed, tweaked, adjusted – RIGHT THEN. Not tomorrow, in 4 hours; not the next day – RIGHT THEN!
Decide if an online, global business is RIGHT for you. Decide if YOU have what it takes to make the “online scene” happen..because it takes time…it takes a commitment…it takes a PASSION…and it takes knowing and understanding that it is a time process, and is not “get rich quick” or overnight.
For ME?
I’m full speed ahead, back to the BASICS of building my empire ONLINE – doing the exact steps that I outline in my newsletter, my products, my podcast and so on.
I’m sticking to that dream of going “global, baby” without ever leaving my home if I don’t want to. But, of course I DO want to because travel is my hot button.
