We’re All Leaving a Trail of History We Can’t Escape

This recent talk really captured my attention as I think it is so true, so timely and something not only to be very aware of, but very thoughtful about.
As we all have a great time sharing pictures, videos, status updates, thought on politics, movies, current events and more through Social Media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, MeetUp, YouTube, Twitter and More, what are we potentially doing to our reputation and legacy through this activity?
I know I have been harping on this for some time to my own children, who as teenagers, think nothing of the potential repercussions of what they post, share and comment about on Social Media. Most kids today have no concept of a future where a potential boss can simply Google their name and make some predeterminations ahead of time.
Think you are being discreet? Then someone takes your picture, blasts it out to the world and you are BUSTED!

I’ve said for a long time – You think the Government is “Big Brother?” Google makes the Government look minuscule in comparison.
